"Resurgence" is a song from "werewolf metal" thrash band Pandemonic featured on their debut demo release, Lycanthropy. It was also featured on a split EP released alongside bands Gallow, Mythistory, and Ad Infinitum.

For ages I have lain
Undead and sound asleep
My flesh is kept sustained
By the block in which I lie

Treacherous crags and trees are adorning
The hillside which serves as my protector and tomb
Where I shall awake to a world non-suspecting
What this old mountain holds shackled inside
For I am one who is transcending the thresholds
Which lies at the gates to the realms of death
So I patiently await my coming resurgence
When the cores of my eyes again will burn red

Stormclouds gather around
And blot the skies which shines too bright
A tempest of death will soon arise
And on its wings you will see me ride

Dreams plague my sleep
With ancient memories
Now centuries has passed
Since my fall

In a far away world in a far away time
I once was a lord amongst others likewise
I fed upon the blood of the weaker mankind
And battled kinsmen who sought my demise
As the blood wars ended I was struck down
I was banished through the gates of hell-land
Defeated and broken as I now arrived
In a world which now would serve as my own

I brought my own children my sons by bloodline
For as they are werewolves I am their sire
We feasted upon the blood of the inhabitants of earth
Raped and slayed all those who came within my girth
I was the warrior lord and my spawn became my knights
So man hid when dusk fell for I truly ruled the nights

Stormclouds gather around
And blot the skies which shines too bright

But in my exile I was not alone
Some enemies of mine was also hurled below
And after centuries of war my body was dying
So I laid down in resin to hide from their spying
And here I now lie, biding my time
Still sustained by the fluids of my own bloodline
