Lyrics

Nightmares by day, what evil is this
Marie cannot see what may be amiss
Verging on breakdown, she needs to escape
Into the countryside to flee her mind's rape

A small, secluded town; a sanctuary to put her at ease
But all is not well as appearances may deceive

Eerie howls break the still of the night
The calling of wolves when the full moon is bright
No wolves in these parts live the locals doth say
Then what lupine beasts seek to take me as prey?

Something is wrong; the nightmares persist
This place holds a secret Marie now insist
The townsfolk hide something, what can it be?
The tower bell in the church may be the key

Now all hell is breaking loose

Richard; her husband is attacked by a wolf
The very next morning his wounds are all gone
Marie, now confused believes she's insane
She saw the bite marks, or is she deranged?

But it's all real; the werewolves does live around here
Richard is now one, the very next full moon Marie will know

Eerie howls break the still of the night
The calling of wolves when the full moon is bright
No wolves in these parts live the locals doth say
Then what lupine beasts seek to take me as prey?

A whole pack of werewolves are coming her way

Time is short something must be done
Otherwise Marie will note live very long
She remembers a tale about the old bell
How it may lure these beasts back to hell

And so as the bells' toll call
The werewolves are summoned to their downfall
Once inside the church they are trapped
The beasts meet their doom as in fire they are wrapped[1]
