"Faoladh" is a 2010 short atmospheric horror film. It features no dialog, rather using lighting and sound design to build tension.

Plot

A vagrant wanders the woods during the day, drinking heavily. As night falls, he enters a guard station to ask a favor. The guards, eating and killing time, roughly throw him from the station. One of the guards leaves the room to make more coffee, and after a moment of deliberation, the vagrant comes back into the station and knocks out the remaining guard.

The vagrant closes himself into the station's single cell, and strips down to huddle under the blanket inside. The full moon rises through the bars in the window, and he begins to vomit blood. His hands and face begin to shapeshift.

The second guard comes back into the entry room, and rouses the unconscious guard. The vagrant, in the throes of his transformation, swipes a clawed hand at the light bulb swinging from the ceiling, plunging the station into darkness.

Both guards warily enter the darkened cell. The vagrant, now a werewolf, creeps into the light of their flashlight. One of the guards flees; the other is frozen in fear.

The vagrant abruptly wakes the following morning in the same woods as the previous day, naked and covered in blood.
