Lyrics

Deep in the shadows hiding under the trees so tall
Behind rocks and bushes we wait for the night to fall
Ours are the eyes you see gleaming in the night
Pairs of sulfurous yellow illumined by the full-moon's light
We are the shapes you thought you saw coming from behind
Making you think the shadows are playing tricks with your mind

But this is all so very real
Just as the panic that you feel
For a pack of werewolves circles 'round
And you are their designated meal

Striking with lightning speed
From your head down to your feet you bleed
Yet still alive on the ground you lie
As the vicious beasts begins to feed

With a wolf's skill and instinct
And man's intelligence we slay
Thus we are far more superior
Than those who embrace the day

What was that face you saw in the window staring right at you
The very image of a haunting nightmare apparently come true
We are the ghosting creatures in the corners of your eyes
Erected wolves on a midnight hunt bringing you a swift demise
You are all ours to take just like a flock of stupid sheep
Each night is harvest night, and your flesh is what we reap

But this is all so very real
Just as the panic that you feel
For a pack of werewolves circles 'round
And you are their designated meal

So why should we hunt and feed upon the lower species' meat
When mankind's flesh does taste so sweet, and is taken with a greater ease

With a wolf's skill and instinct
And man's intelligence we slay
Thus we are far more superior
Than those who embrace the day

Deep in the shadows hiding under the trees so tall
Behind rocks and bushes we wait for the night to fall
Ours are the eyes you see gleaming in the night
Pairs of sulfurous yellow illumined by the full-moon's light
We are the shapes you thought you saw coming from behind
Making you think the shadows are playing tricks with your mind

Striking with lightning speed
From your head down to your feet you bleed
Yet still alive on the ground you lie
As the vicious beasts begins to feed

You try to run but you cannot escape
For fear has locked you in a frozen state
Your legs are numb and your throat is dry
So all you can manage is a stifled cry
But no humans will hear you now
For the beasts are about to strike you down
With one slash your throat sprays red
In the instant you hit the ground you will be dead[1]
