Pandemonic is a "werewolf metal" thrash band from Upplands Väsby, Stockholm, Sweden, active from 1998 to 2006. The last known lineup consisted of vocalist Micke Ullenius, guitarist Micke Jakobsson, and drummer Marcus Jonsson. Members of Pandemonic cited a number of thrash metal influences, including Testament, Exodus, King Diamond, and Slayer. Many reviewers at the time noted especially the similarities between Pandemonic and Slayer, as Ullenius frequently employed high-pitched screaming vocals in the vein of Slayer frontman Tom Araya. These style screams, according to Pandemonic, were initially included as something of a joke, but over time adopted them anyway, as people seemed to like them. (Full article...)
